The first Tula Copper basin was handmade in 1992.
So this year we are 13 years old and still going strong.

It all started from a need to make art more functional and in daily use.
Making not just a picture on the wall but being a practical part of someone's everyday life.

"I use 0.7 mm virgin copper. Cut out a plate and then handbeaten into a basin that is 120 mm deep. It's a bit tricky, but the results is magic.
The copper in heated up to seven times or more and 6 hammers are used in the process .

It's difficult work and every new basin is a unique challenge."

Handmade by artist Milo Viviers

Copper basins and prep bowls are unique and will be a conversation piece for ever. They look fine in granite, rustic in wood.
